Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka, from Minsk (the capital of Belarus) She is the child of Sergey. Sergey Her father (who passed away in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka, a Belarusian born on May 5, 1998. In her career she has been awarded 12 WTA singles titles including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. In her role as a specialist in doubles, she also has won both the US Open of 2019 as and in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. It was the Sunshine Double was achieved by her and Elise in the year 2019. They both won WTA 1000s in Indian Wells & Miami. The feat only four pairs from women's doubles to achieve. On the 23rd August of 2021, she climbed to the second spot in the singles world ranking her best ranking reached again in January 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel her way to the top at the beginning of February that year, following the win in Melbourne being the first tennis player from Belarus to make it in the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, coached her from her 2018 season to the close of this season in 2020. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach who has been with her since at the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her idols.
